The Hotel Nicholas, originally the Alliance and formally the Railway, aims to capture the essence of Beechworth's historic past. Built in 1857, with another floor being added in 1935, it has been restored to reflect the periods of its construction. Winner of the 2010 Indigo Shires Best Historic display. The Hotel Nicholas has a unique place in the Beechworth township with its collection of local and Kelly memorabilia.
