Andrew Boyd Barber is a candidate in the Albury Council Election 2021.
Andrew Boyd Barber is a 31 year old urban designer and masterplanner. He has worked in the UK, NZ and Australia on a number of major urban regeneration projects including rebuilding after the Christchurch Earthquake.
Andrew grew up on the border, attending Walla Walla Public, Albury High School and started his tertiary studies at Wodonga TAFE. Andrews has shown a commitment to the border region over many years. He served a year as Mayor of the Albury Youth Council in 2008 and focused his masters thesis research on the impact high speed rail could have for Albury Wodonga and the wider region.
One of Andrew's proudest moments was helping his grandmother to write her successful cookbook ‘Ivy Barber’s Cookbook’, raising funds for the new Walla childcare centre.
