Hi. I’m Jacqui Hawkins and I’m running as an Independent at this year’s state election. I’ve got a long-lasting connection to our great little pocket of Victoria. A fifth generation local from a farming family, I’ve lived here, worked here, volunteered here, and studied here. And now I want to serve our community in the Victorian Parliament. As a community Independent, my policy priorities are developed through consultation with our community, in line with expert advice. As your representative and independent member for Benambra, my vote in parliament will never be influenced by party politics, donors, lobbyists or backroom deals. I know local people want a representative who will listen, engage in respectful discussion and build consensus with their interests at heart.
